Adams & Martin Group is working with a boutique family law practice to identify a Mandarin-speaking Senior Family Law Paralegal to support its growing legal team. This direct hire opportunity offers a fully remote schedule and is well suited for an experienced California family law professional who is fluent in Mandarin, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing complex matters in a fast-paced environment while supporting attorneys and high-net-worth clients.
Attorney & Administrative Support
* Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys handling complex family law matters
* Work directly with attorneys to manage caseloads, case progression, and daily priorities
* Take initiative in managing assigned matters with minimal supervision
* Demonstrate a proactive approach by anticipating attorney and client needs while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
* Maintain consistent communication with attorneys regarding case status and next steps
* Prepare, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, declarations, financial disclosures, correspondence, and other legal documents
* Assist with all aspects of family law litigation, including high-asset divorce matters, child custody disputes, support issues, and property division matters
* Organize and maintain electronic case files and supporting documentation
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of case-related materials and client records
* Assist attorneys with trial preparation and litigation support as needed
* Manage multiple family law matters simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
* Track case activity and support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation
* Maintain organized and accessible case files to ensure efficiency and compliance
* Coordinate collection and review of financial records and supporting documentation
* Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing professional and responsive communication
* Work closely with high-net-worth individuals and families on sensitive and complex legal matters
* Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, court personnel, experts, and other parties involved in litigation
* Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
* Minimum of 6 years of California family law paralegal experience required
* Extensive experience handling high-asset divorce matters, custody disputes, support issues, and financial disclosures
* Fluency in Mandarin is required; Cantonese language skills are a plus
* Experience working with high-net-worth clients strongly preferred
* Knowledge of California family law procedures, protocols, and court requirements
* Experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment
* Ability to independently manage cases and prioritize competing deadlines
* Prior experience working in a billable environment is strongly preferred
* Ability to meet a 30-hour weekly billable requirement while maintaining high-quality work product
* Experience working with complex compensation structures, including RSUs, bonuses, and equity-based compensation preferred
* Trial preparation experience is a plus
* Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
* Proven stability and tenure in prior positions required
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time-sensitive matters with accuracy
* Fully remote position
